Bosso (or Bossus), Matteo

Bosso (Or Bossus), Matteo an Italian writer, was born at Verona in 1428. He was canon regular of St. John of Lateran, and died at Padua in 1502; leaving, among other works, De Veris ac Salufitclibus Aszini Gisudiis: — De Sapientice Cultu: — De Tolerandis' Adversis, etc.: — four hundred and sixty-five of his letters and six: sermons under the title, Recuperationes Fesulance, dedicated to cardinal Giovanni de' Medici (Bologna, 1492).
