Bosora
Bos'ora (Βοσαρᾶ and Βοσοῤῥᾶ), a strong city in Gilead, taken by Judas Maccabaus (1 Macc. v, 26, 28), doubtless the same as the BOZRAH SEE BOZRAH (q.v.) of Moab (Jer 48:24). But see Schwarz, Palest. p. 223.
