Blanpain, Jean

Blanpain, Jean a French ecclesiastic, was born at Vignot (Meuse) Oct. 21, 1704. He was a Premonstrant monk, and became prior and eventually curate and official at the abbey of Estiral. He died about 1765, leaving several historical works, for which see Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale. s.v.
