Bishop, George

Bishop, George a Methodist Episcopal minister, was a native of South Carolina. He embraced religion in 1829, and in 1831 entered the Georgia Conference, in which he continued to labor with vigor and success until the close of his life, in 1834. Mr. Bishop was a young man of strong mind, studious habits, and manliness. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1835, p. 345.
