Binsfeld Petrus a Flemish theologian, was originally from Luxembourg. At Rome he received the degree of doctor of theology, became canon of Treves, grand- vicar of the archbishop, and was consecrated bishop in pattibus. He died of the plague, Nov. 24, 1598.
