Bhoverlok

Bhoverlok in the mythology of India, is the heaven of the moon, the second of the surgs (regions of heaven). In this the moon travels every month through the twenty-seven houses of its great dwelling. This is probably a picture of the astronomical relation, the moon bears to the earth, as the former completes her siderial course in twenty-seven days.
