Bethleptepha

Beth-leptepha (Reland, Palaest. p. 648), the capital of Bethlepthephene (Pliny, 5, 15), a district opposite Pella, on the west of the Jordan (Josephus, War, 4, 8, 1); perhaps identical with the ruined site Beit-Ilfa, at the north base of Matthew Gilboa (Van de Velde, Narrative, 2, 366).
