Baumbach, Johann Balthasar

Baumbach, Johann Balthasar a German Orientalist, was professor of Hebrew and Greek at Heidelberg, where he died, Sept. 6, 1622. He is the author of, De Libro Psatlmorum: — De Trium Linguarum Orientalium, iebr. Chald. et Syrce, Antiquittte et Utilitate, etc.: — De Appellationibus Dei, quce in Scriptis Rabbinorums Occurrunt: — De Urim et Thumim et Bath-Kol.:De Modo Disputandi cum Judceis.
