Bateman, Thomas

Bateman, Thomas an English clergyman of the 18th century, was chaplain to the duke of Gordon, and vicar of Walpole, Lincoln. He published, A Treatise on Tithe, etc. (1778): — Ecclesiastical Patronage of the Church of England (1782): — The Royal Ecclesiastical Gazetteer (1781): — and Sermons (1778, 1780).
