Bardi, Geronimo (2)

Bardi, Geronimo (2), a Roman Catholic philosopher and theologian of Italy, was born at Rapallo, in Genoa, March 7, 1603. He studied at Genoa and Parma; entered the Jesuit order in 1619, but retired from it in 1624, on account of ill-health, and in 1667 began to practice medicine. He died after 1678. He wrote, Prolusio Philosophica: Encyclpoedia Sacra et Proffana: — Pr'opcedeunmata et Dilucidationes in Platonis Timnceum: — Prcelectiones et Comm. in Aristotelis Meteora, Parva Naturalia et Problemata.
