Barceloneta, Ugone Di

Barceloneta, Ugone Di, an Italian theologian and preacher, was born in Piedmont about 1230. He was of the Dominican Order, and became cardinal of St. Sabina. His sermons gained for him great renown. He wrote, Manipulus Curatorum (Lyons, 1599): Compendium Theolog. Veritatis: Dialogus de Creatione Mundi (in manuscript, preserved in the Library of Venice). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
