Barber, Edward

Barber, Edward a Baptist minister, was born in Exeter, R.I., Sept. 23, 1768. He was ordained pastor of a Baptist Church at Union Village, Sept. 25, 1794, and died July 1, 1834. He was distinguished as a preacher, a pastor, and a counsellor. See Sprague, Annals of the Amer. Pulpit, 6:194.
