Baian

Baian is said to have been the son of Simeon, king of the Bulgarians, who was so great a magician as to be able to transform himself into a wolf, or any other ferocious beast, whenever he wished to go out among his people to test their fidelity. He also had the power of renderinghimself invisible by the aid of powerful deemons.
