Baer, Charles Alfred

Baer, Charles Alfred a Lutheran minister, was born at Lancaster, Pa., May 28, 1831. After graduation, he engaged in study at home for two years, and in October, 1853, he entered the theological seminary of the Lutheran Church at Gettysburg. He was in due time ordained a minister of that Church, and for the two years prior to his decease was pastor of a Church in Norristown, Pa. His care for the sick and wounded at. Gettysburg seriously impaired his health, and he died at Norristown in September, 1863. See Obituary Record of Yale College, 1864.
