Bacon, George an English. Wesleyan .minister, was born at Masborough, near Sheffield, in 1793.' He was converted at the age of fifteen; entered the ministry in 1816; sustained an injury in November, 1832, which laid the foundation of a painful disease and terminated his life at Haworth, Feb. 24- 1835.
