Audran, Louis

Audran, Louis, a French engraver, third son of Germain, was born at Lyons in 1670. .He first studied under his father, but finally under his uncle Gerard. He died at Paris in 1712. His chief sacred work is The Massacre of the Innocents. See Hoefer, Noun. Biog. Generale, s.v.
