Arindela

Arindela (τὰ Α᾿ρίνδηλα), an episcopal city of the Third Palestine of considerable importance, noticed in the early ecclesiastical lists (Reland, Palaest. p. 533, 581); identified by Dr. Robinson (Researches, 2, 496) with the site Ghurundel, near the south-east corner of the Dead Sea, consisting of considerable ruins on the slops of a hill, near a spring.
