Arduino, Maestro

Arduino, Maestro an Italian architect and sculptor, a native of Venice, lived in the' 15th century. There is at the monastery del Carmine, of that place, a Madonna and Child, bearing the name of this artist; and it is said he laid the first foundations of the Church of San Petronio of Bologna.
