Anderson, John A.

an English Congregational minister, was born in the parish of Clatt, Aberdeenshire, May 20, 1833. He was brought to a decision for Christ in his nineteenth year. He attended for one session at King's College, Aberdeen, and then entered the Theological Hall. Here he continued four years, attending also the classes at Edinburgh University. In 1858 Mr. Anderson was ordained over the Church in Kilsyth, where he labored for a year or more with great earnestness and success, and then, becoming suddenly ill, was called, Oct. 9,1859, to his reward.
