Albert, Charles

Albert, Charles a German Reformed minister, was born at Whitehall, Lehigh Co., Pa., in 1824. He graduated at Mercersburg in 1848; was ordained to the work of the ministry in 1852 by the Classis of North Carolina, where he acted as president of Catawba College for some time. He finally came North; passed over to the Episcopal Church; and died in Texas in 1869. See Harbaugh, Fathers of the Germ. Ref. Church, 4, 499.
