Zethar

Ze'thar (Heb. Zethar', זֶתָר, prob. Persian, either star [Gesen.] or sacrifice [Ftirst]; Sept. Α᾿βαταξάς; Vulg. Zethar), sixth named of the seven eunuchs of Ahtasuerus who attended upon the king, and were commanded to bring Vashti into his presence (Es 1:10). B.C. 483.
