Witch

Witch is the rendering, in the A.V., at Ex 22:18, of מכִשֵּׁפָה(mekashshêphah, Sept. φαρμακοί,-Vulg. malefici), and in De 18:10, of the masc. form of the same word (מכִשֵּׁŠ)? , mekashshêph, Sept. φαρμακός, Vulg. maleficus), which is elsewhere rendered "sorcerer" (Ex 7:11; Da 2:2; Mal 3:5).
