Wavesheaf

Wave-sheaf (עֹמֶר הִתּנוּפָה, Sept. δράγμα τοῦ ἐπιθέματος, A.V. "sheaf of the wave- offering," Le 23:15) was the first-fruit of the harvest, which at the beginning of the harvest or Passover (q.v.) was presented to the Jehovah by the ceremony of waving (Le 23:11 sq., 15). SEE WAVE-OFFERING.
