Walker, John (5)

a minister of the Associate Church, was born in Washington County, Pa., in. 1787. He was educated at Jefferson College, in his native county, studied theology with Dr. Anderson, and was licensed in 1809. He first settled in Mercer County, Pa., where he remained three years preaching to- various congregations, and then removed to Harrison County, O., where he continued to labor until his death, in 1845.
