Tulloch, James

Tulloch, James a Scotch Congregational minister, was the first Dissenter who settled in Scotland. He was tutored by Rev. Mr. Ewing of Glasgow, and sent out under the auspices of the Society for Propagating the Gospel at Home. Mr. Tulloch was settled over the Congregational Church at Bixter in 1808, and did much in establishing new churches and propagating the Gospel. He died Feb. 26, 1862. See (Lond.) Cong.
