Suchathite

Su'chathite (Heb. only in the plur. Sukathim', שׂוּכָתַי, a patronlymic of unknown origin; Sept. Σωκαθιείμ ulg. in taberncaculis commorantes), a designation of the last-named of the three families of scribes which dwelt at Jabezs (1 Chronicles 2, 55); apparently descendants of some person named Suchah, a Judahite of the family of Caleb.
