Strout, Joseph C

Strout, Joseph C., a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born at Cornish, Me., in 1833. In 1846 he was converted, and united with the Church. He was educated in the East Maine Conference Seminary, at Bucksport, and entered the Maine Conference in 1857. His ministry was very successful, but brief, as he died Jan. 25, 1862.
