Strickland, John

Strickland, John, a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was admitted into the Georgia Conference Jan. 10, 1850. In the civil war he was chaplain to the 40th Georgia Regiment, and on his way home contracted the illness of which he died. See Minutes of Annual Conferences of the M.E. Church, South , 1863, p. 453.
