Shultz, Thomas

Shultz, Thomas, a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Hamburg, Germany, July 11, 1821. He came to New York with his parents in 1834, was licensed to preach in 1845, and employed to commence a mission at Bloomington, Ia. In 1846 he was admitted on trial in the Illinois Conference, and appointed to the Galena mission; in 1847 to the Beardstown mission; and in 1848 to Burlington, where he died March 20, 1848.
