Sheath

Sheath (Heb. נָדָן, nadan, 1Ch 21:27; תִּעִר, taar, 1Sa 17:51; 2Sa 20:8; Eze 21:3-5,30; "scabbard," Jer 47:6; θήκη, Joh 18:11), the case in which a dagger or sword blade is carried. SEE KNIFE; SEE SWORD.
