Shahazimah (2)

Shahazimah is conjectured by Lieut. Conder (Tent Work, 2:339) to be the present Tell esh-Sheikh Kasim, "a very large artificial mound near the Jordan " (Memoirs to the Ordnance Survey, 2:128), eight miles south of the Sea of Galilee; but there is no special ground for this identification.
