Sechenias

Secheni'as (Σεχενίας Εἰεχονίας), Apocryphal forms of the Heb. name SHECHANIAH (q.v.); namely,

(a) the father of Lettus (1 Esdr. 8:29), or rather of one whose name has dropped out of the text (Ezr 8:3);

(b) the "son" of Jezeluo (1 Esdr. 8:32) or Jaha-ziel (Ezr 8:5).
