Scott, Andrew J

Scott, Andrew J., a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born in Philadelphia, PA., about 1846. His conversion occurred when he was sixteen, and he was received on trial by the New Jersey Conference in 1866, but was soon disabled by disease which resulted in his death, Jan. 2, 1871. Mr. Scott was affable, kind, and sincere, and as a minister beyond reproach. See Minutes of Ann. Conferences, 1871, p. 63.
