Ries, Franz Ulrich

Ries, Franz Ulrich a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born January 3, 1695, at Breidenbach, Hesse, and studied at Marburg and Heidelberg. In 1721 he was professor of philosophy at Marburg, in 1725 doctor, and in 1728. professor of theology.
