Quadrisacramentarians

Quadrisacramentarians is a controversial name for some German reformers in Wittenberg and vicinity who maintained that there are four sacraments necessary to salvation, viz., baptism, the Lord's supper, absolution, and holy orders. See Melancthon, Loci Comm. SEE SACRAMENTARIANS.
