Onolatry

Onolatry (Gr. ὄνος, an ass. and λατρεία, worship), a form of animal worship, of which there are obscure. traces in some ancient authors, chiefly as a slander upon the Jews — (Walch, De cultu asinino, Schleus. 1769). SEE ASS.
