New Pelagians

New Pelagians is the name of a Christian sect which arose and spread chiefly in Holland after the Reformation, and advocated Pelagian views in grace and free-will. They are sometimes called Pelagiani Novi, and sometimes also Conaristae, after Theodore Comartius, secretary to the States-general, who died A.D. 1595. SEE PELAGIANS.
