Muller, Andreas

Muller, Andreas a German divine and Oriental scholar, greatly distinguished for his labors in illustration (of the Chinese language, was a native of Pomerania, and was born in 1630. But little is known of his personal history. He assisted Walton in his Polyglot Bible and contributed to Castell's Lexicon. He also published a Treatise on Cathay; Japanese Alphabet; Chinese Basilicon, and other works. He died in 1694.
