Mizpar

Miz'par (Heb. Mispar', מַספָּר, number, as often'; Sept. Μασφάρ), one of the leading Israelites who accompanied Zerubbabel on the return from Babylon (Ezr 1:2), in the parallel passage (Ne 7:7) called by the equivalent name MISPERETH. B.C. 536.
