Miller, John Wesley

Miller, John Wesley a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was born at Charleston, South Carolina, October 27, 1829. He enjoyed a collegiate education, and entered the ministry in 1850; was, as licentiate, deacon, and elder, on circuits, stations, missions, and in the Southern army as chaplain of hospitals, always a faithful, devoted servant of Christ. He died in the village of Darlington, South Carolina, June 29, 1866. See Minutes of the M. E. Church, South, 1866.
