Mendeniall, James William, D.D.

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Centreville, Ohio, November 8, 1844. Graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1864, he joined the Cincinnati Conference. With the exception of two years spent as president of the Fremont Collegiate Institute at Sidney, Iowa, he was in the pastorate until 1888, when he was elected editor of the Methodist Review; and re- elected in 1892.
