Mcdonald, Andrew

McDonald, Andrew a Scotch minister, was born at Leith in 1757; was educated at the University of Edinburgh; was ordained deacon in 1775; pastor of a congregation at Glasgow in 1777; subsequently removed to London, and devoted himself to the authorship of light literature, and died in the great English metropolis, "a victim to sickness, disappointment, and misfortune," in 1790.
