Laurie, Robert

Laurie, Robert a Scotch prelate, was first minister and then dean of Edinburgh. He was advanced to the see of Brechin about 1670. He was allowed to retain his deanery, and continued to exercise a particular ministry at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Edinburgh until his death in 1677. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 168.
