Lampadon Hemera

LampAdon Hemera (from λαμπάς, a torch and ἡμέρα, a day), the name given to the fifth day of the Eleusinian Mysteries (q.v.), because on that day the initiated marched two and two in procession, each with a torch in his hand, into the temple of Ceres at Eleusis.
