Kutassy, Johannes

Kutassy, Johannes a very prominent Hungarian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, flourished towards the close of the 16th century as archbishop of Grau. He was in great favor at the court of the emperor Rudolph II, and was employed on several important diplomatic missions. He died about 1601.- Allgemeines Hist. Lexikon, 3:69.
