Jacob, Stephen

Jacob, Stephen a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Argyle, N. Y., Feb. 23, 1789; was converted in Feb. 1810; entered the itinerancy in June, 1812; was superannuated in 1818; and died April 24, 1819. He was a zealous; acceptable, and useful preacher, and devotedly pious. — Minutes of Conferences, 1, 327.
