JaäsIel

Jaä'siel (Heb. Yaasiel', יִעֲשַׂיאֵל, made by God; Sept. Ε᾿σσιήλ and Α᾿σιήλ; Vulg. Jasiel), a Mesobaite, and one of David's body-guard (1Ch 11:47, where the name is Anglicized "Jasiel"); probably the same with the son of Abner and viceroy over Benjamin (1Ch 27:21). B.C. 1046-1014.
