Ithreim

Ith'reim (Heb. Yithream', יַתרעָם, superabundance of the people; Sept. Ι᾿εθεραάμ, Ι᾿εθράμ; Josephus Γεθραάμης [Ant. 7:i, 4]), David's sixth son, born of Eglah in Hebron (2Sa 3:5; 1Ch 3:3). B.C. 1045. In the ancient Jewish traditions (Jerome, Qucest. Heb. in 2Sa 3:5; 2Sa 5:23) Eglah is said to have been Michal, and to have died in 'giving birth to Ithream: but this is at variance with the Bible.

Bible concordance for ITHREAM.
