Hilliard, Timothy

Hilliard, Timothy a Congregational minister, was born in 1746 in Kensington N. H. He graduated at Harvard College in. 1764, and is 1768 was appointed tutor, in which position he remained until 1771, when he was ordained pastor at Barnstable. This charge he resigned April 1783, and was installed co-pastor at Cambridge Oct. 27, where he remained until his death, May 9, 1790. He published the Dudleian Lecture at Harvard College (1788), and several occasional sermons. Sprague, Annals, 1, 660.
