Herbert
Herbert a Scotch prelate, was abbot of Kelso, and chancellor of the kingdom. He was consecrated bishop of Glasgow in 1147, by pope Eugenius III. He died bishop of this see, in 1164. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 232.
